On the 11th of July, my parents and I kissed goodbye at Pudong Airport. Along with my two friends and I were strangers to each other. One was Xiaoxuan Zhou and the other one was Xiaoruo Li.
When we arrived at Seattle, Cathy Wang drove us to an apartment before we went to the camp, it was really nice and clean. Then we went to the Space Needle with the teacher Jancy Jin and Cathy Wang. The teachers asked me questions and found I knew a lot. So they gave me some chocolate. I thought the teachers were kind and nice. After we played at the Space Needle, we went to the Pike Market and chose what we wanted for the lunch. Next we went to Microsoft Visitor Center and ate dinner. Finally we had a lesson about what we should and shouldn't do in the camp.
The second day I went to the camp with Xiaoruo and Xiaoxuan. I took a dark blue bus and they took another bus. I was not happy on the bus, because my English wasn't very good, I was just good at writing in English but not at speaking. I already cried.
In the next two weeks we had giant swing, ice-cream making, open rec, forest trip, campfire, fun yakking, dock jump, plan-do-review, life in the forest …… what is open rec? It's an activity we can swim, buy some ice-cream or juice, play gaga ball and draw. It was pretty good.
I didn't like BMX. You could ride bike or play beef-stick. BMX was not safe and you should be careful. Because they just gave you a bike and a helmet, no kneecap or elbow pad.
I liked giant swing best.
On the 27th of July my English was really good, I could talk with other children. But it was time for leave.
When we went out of the camp, we visited the Boeing Factory, it was fun. But that was the end of this trip, I couldn't wait to go home.
