今年是9岁的Alan在西雅图度过的第二个暑假，去年夏天他还去了美西，今年夏天又去了黄石，一路上他都有写日记哦～

黄石公园游记

    结束西雅图第一周的夏令营，经过两天的长途跋涉，我们到达了著名的美国黄石国家公园。这里非常大，整个公园占地面积有8000多平方公里。黄石公园坐落在一个活火山上，就像是一个不定时的炸弹。

    黄石公园有许多著名的景点，我们第一站到了猛犸象温泉，还没靠近温泉，就看到有白色的雾气从地面上冒出来，走进跟前一看，有许多大大小小的泉眼，水的颜色是蓝色的，非常漂亮，就像是一块块大大小小的水晶石散落在地面上。温泉水温很高，差不多有90度，所以人如果不小心掉进去的话肯定会丧命。因此温泉的周围有些栅栏防护着，防止游客靠得太近。

    驱车走在黄石公园里的路上会看到许多的动物：牦牛、狐狸、美洲鹿、棕熊、黑熊……这些动物生活在这座浩大的公园里，这里是他们自由的天地，他们是这里的主人，我们这些游客是客人。

    沿着路再往下走，我们到了第二个景点黄石瀑布，瀑布从悬崖上倾斜而下，像是一条洁白的丝缎，一直流向远处的山谷。在太阳的照射下，山谷里出现了五颜六色的彩虹，景象十分壮观可爱。

    黄石公园里还有一个著名的景点就是大棱镜，之所以起这个名字，是因为从天空向下看，它就像一面巨大的镜子，浮在黄石公园里。大棱镜的中间是蓝色的，周围还有耀眼的像太阳光辉般的黄色的光芒，让人不禁感叹自然的伟大。

    我们用了整整两天的时间游览黄石公园，其实也只是它的冰山一角。听完我的介绍，你是不是也觉得黄石公园很美呢？

Today we went back to Seattle from Yellowstone. It took us six hours to get back. We did a lot of work along the way. We heard a song named Super Champion. We also saw the scenery along and it was beautiful. Then we ate jerky, banana and Lay's in the car. I bought a toy, but I couldn't find it in the car. After we went back to the hotel, we found it in the trunk. I was so happy that I found it!

Today we went to Seafair, it was big and nice. There were a lot of stars and sponsors, including Bill Gates. The stars and sponsors were VIP, so they got the best viewing positions. We saw boat race. Boats were so fast and they could fly in the sky. The red one was the winner, because it could accelerate when switching direction. Then we saw aircraft performance. Aircrafts flew high and fell free, it was so cool! We also heard the sound of fighter jets, it was deafening. Then I saw a person in the water, a plane flew to the water surface to rescue him. We also went to an inflatable castle. We had fun. Finally we went home.
